The BlackVue Cloud service allows you to check on your car from anywhere, anytime. Simply connect your dashcam to the BlackVue app without leaving the app, thanks to the Seamless Pairing feature. This makes the setup process incredibly easy - just power on the dashcam, and it can be connected to the app with simple instructions.
Through the BlackVue app, you can browse your dashcam's files and settings, as well as connect it to the Cloud. The Cloud service provides remote Live View and Push Notifications to your phone, allowing you to keep an eye on your vehicle. You can also back up important videos to the free Cloud storage, and play or download them from anywhere.
For enhanced connectivity, the optional CM100LTE module can be connected to your BlackVue X Series dashcam via the USB port. This provides easy 4G LTE connectivity to enable the BlackVue Cloud features, and also allows your dashcam to function as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for up to five devices.
In terms of video quality, the 4K UHD recording is a significant improvement over Full HD, providing much greater clarity and detail. License plates can be more easily identified from further away, and you can zoom in without any visible pixelation, even on a Full HD monitor.
The native Parking Mode, with the included hardwiring cable, allows the dashcam to automatically switch to this mode when the vehicle's ignition is turned off. The voltage cutoff and timer can be set through the BlackVue app, ensuring your vehicle's battery is protected.
